The Rectal Insufflation Catheters are the perfect combination of rigidity and flexibility and are designed for easy insertion allowing for easy absorption of ozone through the walls of the colon to the bloodstream. They are built for durability, allowing a long lifetime of treatment. The catheters measure 3/16” (4mm) in diameter and 12” (305mm) in length and include a female luer lock attachment for easy connection to other ozone accessories. Luer Lock catheters used for rectal and other insufflation applications are generally more biocompatible, highly resistant to ozone, and often softer and more comfortable for longer placement. These catheters are specifically labeled as ozone-resistant and manufactured from medical-grade PVC. Replacement depends on the amount and frequency of use; however, with proper care, they may last 1–2 years or longer.
